# Xardian Nodes

Xardian Nodes are integral to the XProtocol ecosystem, designed for early supporters to secure the network and earn xKICK rewards. By operating a node, participants enhance the decentralized governance and security of the XProtocol network.

**October 2026 update**

XProtocol has decided not to proceed with the planned $KICK token launch. We are reviewing existing reward arrangements, including the treatment of xKICK holdings and accumulated rewards, as well as existing node operations. Further details will be provided as part of our restructuring roadmap, which we are targeting to publish in Q2 2027.

We are also working toward gasless node operations, with the objective of removing the need for operators to continually fund gas transactions to keep their nodes running.

There is no functional difference between buying a tier 1 node and a tier 35 node; the only difference lies in the pricing structure, allowing early adopters and supporters to purchase nodes at different price points. This structure ensures equitable access while supporting the network's growth and sustainability.

#### ⚡️ What dApps will be available on the network?

Any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) equivalent decentralized application (dApp) can run on the XProtocol network, offering a wide range of possibilities for developers and users alike.

#### ⚡️ How many nodes can I run?

Participants can operate multiple nodes, contributing significantly to the network's robustness and decentralization.

#### ⚡️ What is the node block reward and how often do they occur?

Node rewards are distributed in xKICK. The previously planned conversion of xKICK to $KICK depended on the $KICK token launch, which will not proceed. The treatment of xKICK holdings and accumulated rewards is under review.
